Everything we use is either mined or grown. But mines deplete. So new ore deposits must be found continuously, to replace tired old mines.
Finding these deposits keeps getting harder and harder, as the easy ones have already been found. So exploration requires ever more specialist skills, which are different from those needed to develop and operate mines. Many companies nowadays focus on either one, or the other.
With the Prospect Map, Prospect-Finder aims to connect prospect generators with companies that move exploration projects forwards. A new channel to expand the reach of both prospectors and companies looking for new projects, and therefore facilitate deals between them. This will lead to increased exploration efforts, and more opportunities to find those ore deposits that the world needs. To find resources needed to build products and infrastructure that will help people in developing parts of the world increase their standard of living.
Prospect-Finder was founded by me, Siebe Breed. When I was a boy, I was so full of energy I couldn’t sit still for five minutes, except when looking through all the colorful maps in my parents’ old atlas. Today, I map geology with remote sensing data. I have done so for over five years, in a variety of tectonic settings all around the world. My experience is ideal to help exploration companies understand the structure of un(der)explored regions, and recognize prospective provinces along strike from known deposits. My trained eye can help you find those structures that control the mineralization in your prospects. I would love to know more about your exploration efforts, and talk about how my geological mapping services, offered through Geosense, can help you be successful.
